Building Our Customers’ Dream Home
Inland Building Company Inc. started this new build custom project with the blasting of the existing ledge. Once the land was cleared, the foundation was poured.
The post and beam frame of the 5000 square foot house was outsourced and erected by Timber Creek Inc. Inland Building Company Inc., then worked closely with the client to create the mudroom and apartment above the garage and the interior and exterior details.
The three-story home was built using many reclaimed elements such as the interior doors and the window frames. We customized the open-framed steel staircases, railings, and a sunroom off the right side of the home.
The client wanted to incorporate nature into the interior of the home. To deliver on that, we added steel accents that depicted a field-like scene in the loft areas, as well as some stained-glass beehive accents that incorporated a small, fold down table within the hive. This created a nice reading nook, at the client’s request.
A cherry tree from a property in Bethel, Vermont was milled to create a custom bar and cabinets. We also repurposed a 1700’s hand hewn beam removed from a neighbors home, for the fireplace mantel.
Once the home was completed, we added landscaping and stone walls.
